End of Life Information

End-of-life is possibly one of the most important phases of your life, and it is never too early to learn more about the gifts hospice can provide to you and your family. Hospice care is innovative healthcare because it not only  providing expert symptom and pain management, but importantly by introducing spirituality as a necessary piece to encompassed care. 

We honor this tradition by incorporating a dynamic and well-rounded team approach to your care.  Hospice of Missoula identifies holistic care as “whole person care”
meeting the physical needs of patients while offering emotional, spiritual, and social support. 

Hospice is full of life. We provide in-patient care, respite care, and care in your home helping people in our community complete their lives with dignity and peace. Hospice of Missoula focuses on living.

Serious illness affects family and friends. When an illness cannot be cured there are many decisions to take and preparations to make. If their family is coping, a patient’s last months are going to be much more bearable. Hospice offers emotional, spiritual, and practical support to families and friends as they care for someone who is nearing end-of-life, and then for 13 months ongoing after that person passes.
